About Us

LEARN
WHO
WE ARE

Boston Buddies is an organization of volunteers who rescue and rehome Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier mixes in Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange and Kern counties, as well as some surrounding communities. Our loving volunteers are dedicated to the combined efforts of shelter rescues, owner surrenders, adoptions, and education for you and your present or future Boston Buddy.

A NON-PROFIT
ORGANIZATION

Boston Buddies, Inc. is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescuing and rehoming of any Boston Terrier or Boston Terrier mix in need. We adopt our rescue Bostons from shelters, take in owner surrenders and rescue strays.

AREAS WE
COVER

Boston Buddies operates primarily throughout San Diego, Imperial, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Kern counties as well as surrounding areas on an as needed basis.

Mission
Statement

Our ultimate purpose is to match homeless or potentially homeless Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier mixes with loving permanent families, specifically interested in the breed. We do this by providing temporary foster care, medical treatment, personality assessments of the animals, and interviews and home checks of potential adopters. Each dog is examined by a veterinarian and provided with all necessary and reasonable medical treatment, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped.

Adoption Process

An Adoption Application, home visit, adoption fee and Adoption Agreement are all required as part of our adoption process.  To find out more about our adoption process and policies and to view our Adoption Application and Adoption Agreement, please visit our Adoption Page.

All
Volunteer

Boston Buddies has no paid employees.  Our group is run entirely by devoted volunteers who donate their time and energy to help us achieve our goal of finding every needy Boston Terrier and Boston Terrier mix a forever home.  Your donations and adoption fees allow us to continue our efforts and are deeply appreciated.

Part of the COMMUNITY

Boston Buddies values its reputation in the rescue and animal services community and strives to conduct its efforts in a manner that fosters cooperation and teamwork with the individuals, groups and public and private organizations involved in animal welfare throughout the communities in which we operate. When Boston Buddies makes a commitment to aid or assist a Boston Terrier or Boston Terrier mix in need we carry through with our promise and remain committed to that dog for life. We are proud that our efforts have enabled us to rescue and assist over 2000 dogs in need since the inception of our organization.
